EAGLE SCOUT AWARD

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

EAGLE SCOUT AWARD

Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the in the scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America program. To attain this rank he must earn at least 21 merit badges and demonstrate through Scout spirit, the Boy Scout oath and law, service and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads and manages.

The service project performed by this Scout to receive his Eagle Scout Award has many benefits to our Community and American Legion Post 32. The project done by James Paxton of Troop 17, Oil City, PA was building a set of book cases to house the extensive collection of hard back World War Two books that our departed Comrade Kenny Beck donated to the Post. This project has benefited the Post by having a beautiful set of book cases to display these books and as a reference source for our members and the Community.
